The Humble Inception

Saints Orphanage International is a charitable organization that provides for the needs of children who have been orphaned as result of parents dying from HIV/AIDS or street violence, mostly in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. The orphaned children had insufficient food and housing, there was limited access to medical and education services and a culture of violence pre-dominated their everyday lives. Those factors, combined with others, have caused the orphaned children to implement survival mechanisms on their own, which often led them to engage in antisocial behavior, child labour, prostitution, street life and drug abuse.

Saints Orphanage International provides a safe and loving environment to Kenyan orphans, street children and other very needy children. Education, psychological care and love in a family setting allow these children to feel welcomed and valued. These factors enable them to realize and embrace opportunities that would otherwise be lost.
